Brian Alpert
Principal
Brian E. Alpert, CPA brings more than 40 years in diverse tax, financial, and business consulting experience, with a special focus on restaurants, to his role as a Certified Public Accountant. He is a member of both the American Institute of Public Accountants (AICPA) as well as the California Society of Certified Public Accountants.
Currently his practice includes restaurants in over 22 different states and is focused from Quick Service through Table Service. This includes both franchised and non-franchised operations.

Mitch King
Principal
Mitch brings more than 40 years in diverse tax, financial and business consulting experience to his role as Director. He is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in the State of California. Mitch earned his bachelors degree at University of California Santa Barbara. His decades of experience enables him to provide relevant and timely advice and assistance to business owners with their accounting, periodic reporting, tax and ultimately with the development and implementation of succession plans.

Sherry Martin, CPA
Senior Business Advisory Manager
Sherry is a business advisor at Hidden Valley and had over 20 years of private accounting experience before making the jump into public accounting. Her background is in corporate accounting and reporting in the banking, transportation, and lighting & controls fields. Sherry is responsible for weekly, monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial statements as well as annual filings, tax planning, and tax preparation. She enjoys providing her clients with financials to assist them in running their business!
Sherry is proficient in QuickBooks (desktop and online) and many other accounting systems. While she has restaurant clients, she is also experienced in Real Estate, Opportunity Zones, and Investment Companies. Sherry earned her BS in Accounting from Elmhurst University in Illinois. She is a licensed CPA in the state of California and is registered in the state of Illinois. She enjoys watching sports (Chicago teams are her favorites) and spending time with family.

Tracy Little
Business Advisor
Tracy is a business advisor at Hidden Valley and is a California native. She has an AA degree in Accounting and Photography from El Camino College and has almost 30 years of bookkeeping experience. In her spare time, Tracy enjoys hiking and capturing nature at sunrise or sunset.

Heather Rocha
Senior Business Advisor
Heather is an experienced accounting bookkeeper with a keen eye for details. She has been committed to providing excellent service for over 23 years to help create and build better businesses. Her responsibilities include overall financial data, ledger entries, reports, property tax, sales tax, and insurance audits.
Heather received her accounting certificate from Simi Valley career institute.
Heather’s hobbies include traveling, spending time outdoors, and doing fun activity’s with her family and dogs.

Connie Stewart
Business Advisor
Connie was born and raised in Cleveland, OH and worked in corporate banking before taking a break to raise her daughters. She has been a bookkeeper for 14 years, working remotely from sunny Florida since 2022. Connie loves to travel and spends her free time training her English Cream Golden Retriever puppy. She also enjoys puzzles and decorating her home.

April Stumbough
Business Advisor
April is a business advisor at Hidden Valley who is dedicated to providing outstanding service. She has an AA in Accounting and over 18 years of bookkeeping experience. Her responsibilities include bank reconciliations, reports, licenses, sales tax, and property tax. In her free time, April enjoys reading, cooking, and spending time with her family.

Brandi Serrato
Accounting Clerk
Brandi is an accounting clerk at Hidden Valley with over three years of experience. Originally from Oxnard, California, she grew up in a military family and returned to Oxnard in 1992. Outside of work, Brandi enjoys reading and spending quality time with her family.

Elena Garcia
Accounting Clerk
Elena has enjoyed 14 years as accounting clerk. She earned a college certificate in accounting procedures at Moorpark College in Moorpark, CA. When Elena is not working, she enjoys her family and serves actively in a Local/Global Christian Inner City Ministry.

Vanessa Garcia
Accounting Clerk
Vanessa is an accounting clerk at Hidden Valley and has over 4 years of experience in accounting. Prior to Hidden Valley she worked in retail where she gained experience in management, sales, and customer service. In her free time, Vanessa likes to hike, travel, and spend time with family.

Maria Soto
Accounting Clerk
Maria is an accounting clerk at Hidden Valley and has 20 years of experience with data entry for payroll and accounts payable processing, primarily working with restaurants across the United States. Outside of work, Maria enjoys fashion, baking, interior design, and spending time with her family.

Dana Locker
Administrative Assistant
Dana is an administrative assistant and has over 17 years of experience with administrative duties such as filing, data entry, copying, binding, scanning etc. In her free time, Dana likes reading, knitting and spending time with her family and grandchildren.
